ATTENTION youth workers, teachers, after-school program coordinators, and parents! Did you and your teens miss out on the LEAPS academy? Wish you could've seen what the buzz was all about? Now's your chance!
Leadership Education and Action to Promote Safety (LEAPS) for Young Workers Academy is holding a reunion Summit on June 26th, at SEIU 1199 offices-150 Mt. Vernon St., Dorchester MA from 12-4 pm and we're inviting you to join us! Please RSVP (nancy.luc@masscosh.org or call 617.825.7233x13) by June 20th if you plan to attend.
LEAPS Summit is:
- A chance for participants of LEAPS to share with everyone their experiences at LEAPS
- A chance to showcase the different community projects of each team
- An opportunity to discuss the experiences and lessons learned from the community project
- A celebration of youth leadership!
Throughout the summit, there will be workshops facilitated by the peer leaders of CAAS and TL@W. There will also be resource tables for today's young workers. This will be a great opportunity to not only learn more about LEAPS though first-hand experiences, but to celebrate the exciting accomplishments of all involved.
