MassCOSH has Shifted to All-Remote Operations

As of March 13, our offices in Dorchester and East Boston are closed to visitors. We are following the advice of public health experts to promote and support social distancing as this global pandemic affects billions of peoples’ lives. We have canceled all in-person meetings and events hosted at our offices or convened by us for the immediate future. Unfortunately, this includes our upcoming commemoration of Worker Memorial Day on April 28, 2020, and likely our Celebrating the Movement event on May 14. More details on our plans for these events will follow. However, that does not mean that our work has stopped or even slowed.

MassCOSH staff are in their homes hard at work. We are serving on task forces, holding meetings, providing trainings and technical support, releasing important information to the public, and supporting our working brothers and sisters organized or not. Please check out the Covid-19 resources on our website at masscosh.org and check our Facebook page for more details on the services and actions we are planning and offering. Staff are working to ensure that all workers understand their rights and what benefits they are entitled to during this difficult time, and organizing and advocating to expand these benefits and rights to address growing needs. There is little doubt that we will need your help for much of what we are working on so please visit our sites often.
