On October 23, MassCOSH and its members held a memorial and call to action to remember fallen workers Robert Higgins and Kelvin Mattocks who died on the job October 21, 2016.

MassCOSH seeks to hire a full time trainer to develop and deliver health and safety training, support workers’ leadership development around health and safety, and conduct outreach to unions to strengthen MassCOSH’s relationships and promote membership. Preference will be given to candidates who have expertise in: worker health & safety, safety processes covered by OSHA 1910.120 hazardous waste and emergency response (HAZWOPER) regulations, work environment hazards and adult participatory / popular education. Quick learning-curve and uptake necessary.
