Community Rallies to Support Families Facing ICE-Related Hardships and Protect Children and Dependents

(Southern) Massachusetts– A new GoFundMe campaign has beenlaunched to provide urgent financial assistance to families experiencinghardship due to immigration enforcement actions and related challenges. Thefundraiser aims to help ensure that children, elderly family members, and otherdependents have access to essential needs during times of uncertainty andcrisis.

Many families impacted by detention, legal proceedings, loss of income,or sudden family separation often face immediate challenges paying for housing,food, childcare, transportation, healthcare, and legal support. Thiscommunity-led fundraising effort seeks to provide a lifeline for affectedhouseholds while they navigate these difficult circumstances.

This campaign is about supporting our neighbors, protecting vulnerabledependents, and ensuring that families have access to the resources they needto remain stable and safe.

Funds raised through the campaign will help cover:

• Emergency     housing and utility expenses
• Food and     household necessities
• Childcare and     educational support
• Transportation     costs
• Medical and     mental health services
• Legal     assistance and related family support needs
