Bria Smith serves as Youth Program Leader at the Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health (MassCOSH), where she empowers young people to become leaders and advocates for safe, healthy, and equitable workplaces. Through the Teens Lead @ Work (TL@W) program, she helps youth understand their workplace rights, strengthen leadership skills, and build the confidence to create positive change in their communities.
A graduate of Emerson College with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Bria brings extensive experience in youth leadership, education, and community organizing. Before joining MassCOSH, she served as a Teaching Fellow at Epiphany Middle School and Program Coordinator at Teen Empowerment, where she developed youth leadership programs, facilitated discussions on social justice, and connected young people with opportunities for civic engagement and personal growth.
Bria's commitment to education, equity, and community leadership aligns closely with MassCOSH's mission to protect workers, promote workplace health and safety, and prepare the next generation of leaders to advocate for worker rights, dignity, and justice throughout the Commonwealth.
