Tania Shadari serves as Youth Program Leader at the Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health (MassCOSH), where she equips young people with the leadership skills, knowledge, and confidence to advocate for safe, healthy, and equitable workplaces. Through the Teens Lead @ Work (TL@W) program, she helps youth understand their rights under labor laws, develop as community leaders, and become advocates for workplace safety and social justice.
A graduate of Lasell University with a bachelor's degree in Marketing and a minor in Communications, Tania brings experience in human resources, communications, youth engagement, and organizational leadership. Her professional background includes workforce compliance, employee relations, strategic communications, event coordination, and community outreach, providing a strong foundation for educating and mentoring future worker leaders.
Driven by a commitment to worker justice and youth empowerment, Tania is passionate about preparing the next generation to recognize workplace hazards, understand labor protections, and lead positive change in their schools, workplaces, and communities. Her work reflects MassCOSH's mission of advancing worker health, safety, dignity, and leadership across the Commonwealth.
