​ALL Workers Need COVID Safety Protections Now!

On May 27, Governor Baker replaced Massachusetts' COVID-19 Workplace Safety Regulations with a blank version, circumventing any public process and leaving workers in Massachusetts with no protections from workplace exposure to COVID-19. On June 10, OSHA issued its long-awaited Emergency COVID-19 Temporary Standard to protect workers, but for healthcare workers only. Only about 56% of Massachusetts residents are fully vaccinated, with lower rates for people of color who have been hit especially hard by the virus - often from workplace exposure.

MassCOSH is joining with National COSH on Tuesday, June 15 for a day of action and we need you! Make a homemade sign (all skill levels welcome) that says "Governor Baker and OSHA, ALL Workers Need COVID Safety Protections Now!" and post a photo of you holding the sign on social media. Tweet it at Governor Baker @MassGovernor and OSHA @OSHA_DOL and let them know you stand with workers!
